Our course calls on over 40 years of experience supporting bereaved pet owners and the experience of veterinary professionals from the UK’s leading practitioners.

Learners are awarded a total of 3 hours of Accredited CPD and a certificate for each module proving they have completed the Understanding Pet Loss course.

The course consists of six 30-minute modules:

• Love, loss & grief
• Reactions to grief & complicated grief
• Compassionate communication
• Introducing a bond centred euthanasia process
• Other euthanasia scenarios
• Compassion fatigue
