Course Content:

This talk covers the creation of a rabbit service in your practice – how to ensure good biosecurity and a safe comfortable environment for rabbits. We will talk about handling, hospital setup, syringe feeding, monitoring and some basics on anaesthesia.

The course contains a video lecture followed by a multiple choice test. Upon completion a personalised certificate will be issued.

This course is worth approximately 60 minutes of CPD.

About the Provider

LagoLearn was launched by Jo Hinde RVN and Ivan Crotaz MRCVS, in 2016, to help general practice vets and nurses work to a good standard of rabbit care. We teach straightforward techniques that can be applied in a 1st opinion environment. We teach & encourage teamwork between veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses for the best possible patient outcome. Jo’s special interest is in medical and surgical nursing care for rabbits. Ivan has special interests in rabbit anaesthesia and was one of the veterinary consultants behind the design of the v-gel® airway products.
