Course Content:

Basic surgery. Neutering makes up the majority of general practice rabbit surgery. In this talk, we aim to show you simple surgical techniques that work. We’ll work through some straightforward techniques that make surgery easier and safer, plus the relevant surgical anatomy and some pointers on analgesia.

The course contains a video lecture followed by a multiple choice test. Upon completion a personalised certificate will be issued.

This course is worth approximately 60 minutes of CPD.

About the Provider

LagoLearn was launched by Jo Hinde RVN and Ivan Crotaz MRCVS, in 2016, to help general practice vets and nurses work to a good standard of rabbit care. We teach straightforward techniques that can be applied in a 1st opinion environment. We teach & encourage teamwork between veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses for the best possible patient outcome. Jo’s special interest is in medical and surgical nursing care for rabbits. Ivan has special interests in rabbit anaesthesia and was one of the veterinary consultants behind the design of the v-gel® airway products.
